What kind of lessons do you take at Musicology, and how long have you taken them?
I take vocal lessons with Mrs. Vanessa. I have been at Musicology for four years.

What are your hobbies, besides music?  
Video games and watching movies.

What is your favorite food?
Sushi!

What is the best thing you have learned from your teacher?  
Singing is not just about how you sound but how you act and how acting is a big part of performing.

What is your favorite song?
“Stars” from Les Miserables.

Which instruments do you teach at Musicology?
I teach flute, beginner piano and voice.

How long have you been teaching music?
Since 2001, so about 16 years.

What do you like the most about teaching music?
The “A-ha moment”- when my student understands what I’ve been teaching them.

What is your favorite type of music?
Rock and roll!  I love Post-Modern Jukebox. I love Disney music and have been known to break out in song!

What are your hobbies, besides music?
Martial arts, fitness, hiking, anything outdoorsy!

What is your favorite kind of food?
Super dark chocolate is my favorite food!

Do you have any pets and/or children?
Yes, I have two dogs and a bearded dragon. I also have a 7-year-old daughter.

2017 Calendar

We have changed our schedule for 2017 to serve your family better.  Our teachers will no longer take individual vacations. Instead, the school will be closed and no lessons will be taught on the following days:

May 29 Memorial Day

July 4-8 Independence Day

September 4 Labor Day

November 21-24 Thanksgiving

December 25-30 Christmas


Please make a note of theses dates on your calendar.

Policies and Procedures Reminder

Late Fees & NSF Fees

Musicology School of Music would like to remind you that if there are insufficient funds in your account on the designated date of tuition payment, Musicology is charged a NSF charge of $15 from our financial institution. This fee will now need to be paid by you when you pay for the current month.  Payment is considered late four days after the agreed upon payment date and a $20 late fee will be applied to your account.   

Musicology Referral Program

Students, do you know somebody who would love to take  music lessons at Musicology?  

Refer them, make sure they write your name
on their enrollment paperwork,
and we’ll give you $24 off your next month’s tuition.

Are you Ready to Rock?

Musicology’s Rock Band Program (ages 10-18) is in need of a few new players.

Ask your teacher if you’re ready for a Rock Band.

We have open spots for:

• Piano Players
• Guitar Players
• Bass Guitar (if you take guitar lessons, not bass, you could still be eligible)
• Drummers
